Leora will discuss additional cases that the Supreme Court will be deciding this Term, including one raising a constitutional challenge based on the Sixteenth Amendment; ratified in 1913, it authorizes Congress to impose a federal income tax. She will also focus on some recent cases in which the Court issued orders refusing to grant review, including a case challenging the admissions policy at a highly-rated public magnet school in Virginia..
