Law in the Headlines: Exploring Current Legal Controversies, with Leora Harpaz

In next week’s class, Leora will discuss a constitutional challenge to a federal gun restriction. It is the first Second Amendment case the Court has agreed to hear since it decided New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v. Bruen in 2022. She will also discuss other gun restriction cases before the Supreme Court as well as the lower federal courts. Time allowing, Leora will describe recent legal developments on the subject of abortion. She welcomes your suggestions for other subjects you’d like to hear about.
