This course is a group discussion of current events, focusing on significant economic, social, and political issues in the news. A few key articles from major newspapers and journals will be sent to students in advance to read so we can come to talk about our views on the subjects. We want to hear what you think! The articles for this week are on a recommendation that a campaign be established to reduce mortality from the world's leading killer, hypertension; a description of how President Biden could act to reduce immigration at the border; and an analysis how the A.I. economy makes our humanity more important than ever..
