This course is a group discussion of current events, focusing on significant economic, social, and political issues in the news. A few key articles from major newspapers and journals will be sent to students in advance to read so we can come to talk about our views on the subjects. We want to hear what you think! The articles for this week are an analysis of why the party that nominates a judge is important, a description of a new global gender divide, and a case for paying teachers $100,000 a year
