Politics 2024, with Larry Geneen
March 27, 2024 @ 1:00-2:15pm

The 2024 major presidential candidates are set, so it will be a long and intensely fought campaign. Both President Joe Biden and former president Donald Trump face serious questions about their age. Trump faces several legal and financial challenges, and questions swirl about his possible running mate. Foreign policy is now front and center with the Israel/Gaza situation, Ukraine and Russia. Both major parties have divisions on these key issues. What happened with the “shutdown showdown”? Republicans’ small Congressional majority has further slimmed down with surprise retirements. What role will third party bids play? Larry will discuss the key issues of the race, insights from polling, and other developments. He’ll also focus on New York State and City politics. He always encourages interactive discussions and welcomes student suggestions of topics to cover; write to judy@langerqual.com. Larry is a risk management consultant, former COO of the American Management Assoc., EVP of Johnson and Higgins.
